This film delivers an exhilarating blend of thrilling romanticism, weaving intensity and passion into every frame. However, it’s disheartening to witness Nicole struggle to command the big screen, as her performance lacks the gravitas needed to anchor the narrative. In stark contrast, Esther McGregor and Sophie Wilde, despite their limited screen time, infuse their roles with a magnetic presence that effortlessly outshines her. Their nuanced portrayals bring unexpected depth, making their fleeting appearances more memorable than Nicole’s central performance.

As a Lost in Translation lover, I couldn't stop thinking about that this one is a remake yet it failed in my opinion.

Sofia Coppola knows how to integrate Bill Murray into the scenario and as a result he flourished the movie with his acting. On the other side of the coin, main integration of 'husband and wife' has no depth in it and that caused me to fail feeling an emotion fully. I mean at some degree it should have hit me with its comedy, drama, adventure but it was average or below in every way.
