Felt a lot longer this time around but I preceded this by watching Fight the Power: How hip-hop changed the world, a BBC documentary series and it gave great context to the time this was set it. Film details that you would otherwise take for granted of you didn't know the history. For example, the militarised police, watts riots and the mayor bringing southern states police officers to LA

The Wife and Her House Husband 2022
Really nice. Director gave an intro which gave the film nice context.
He said something along the lines of: "we are so used to seeing get together stories so seeing a breakup story is boundary pushing" as a result the film didn't have a satisfying ending but neither do relationships, I speak from experience. It was also great and being intresting but not having the entire world revolve around these characters
