I've mixed feelings about this movie. Some great acting and strong themes on trans gender. But it didn't really work for me. The singing and music was only partially successful sometimes jarring on the ear. The drug cartel aspect was not convincing. As a movie it wasn't sure what it wanted to be: serious drama or musical. Maybe that was point!
