This installment is the vast inferior of the trilogy and I pray to all that is holy that RH4 does not fall into the same issues as this. The fact that they go for obvious green screen stunts is blasphemy to all that is Jackie Chan. His whole schtick is that he does all his own stunts. That is literally his entire career. Unforgivable. The Chris Tucker & Jackie chemistry still has its moments but it’s not as magic as the other…
My wife told me that this isn’t her type of movie. I disagree, I am a firm believer that Jackie Chan is for the masses. This is also a Jackie specialty, a buddy-cop film. He really shines in this genre (Shanghai Noon & knights). Also there may be no greater actor at getting hurt than the Chan man, his “Oww” face should win an Oscar. Can’t wait to rewatch RH2 where they only improve on the formula.
Finally, bloopers. BRING BACK BLOOPERS.
Tom S. Invited my wife and I over for a nice dinner and when we got there we were forced to watch this whole movie instead. The impractical joke was on us. 1 1/2 stars because he popped us up some buttery Orville Redenbacher, but deduct 1/2 a star because his fits of laughter were so intense as he watched his favorite joker, Joe Gatto, he kept spilling his popcorn all over the couch, making an absolute mess of the place.
