    - The performances! In my opinion the whole cast were great. Fassbender and Blanchett make it so believable that they’re a spy couple. Tom Burke, great. Marisa Abela, great. The rest of the cast were also good.

    - Cinematography was great and suited the films polished aesthetic with great tracking shots and meticulous framing.

    - Good direction with slick editing.

    - Screenplay and the dialogue are sharp, and surprisingly witty with some great dark humour. There’s clever, fun exchanges…

    Positives
    - Even though I don’t like that he played the dual roles, De Niro did the best he could with his performance despite the weak script.
    - A small role, but I feel Cosmo Jarvis’ character was fun and he gave an enjoyable performance.
    - Costumes and set design gave a good time period atmosphere,

    Negatives
    - Tedious, disjointed, unfocused story. Incredibly dull… really slow paced.
    - Poor writing in many senses. The dialogue was choppy, with some pointless…

    Positives
+ I appreciate the attempts behind its expressions of gender fluidity.
    + Decent score.

    Negatives
    - Really dull, relatively boring plot that doesn’t really go anywhere.
    - Secondary elements e.g the horror elements, tv show moments, monologues don’t really work, they really fizzle out.
    - Messaging was very messy.
    - Acting was very flat, this may have been the point but it made all the characters very one note and un-unique. I don’t mind…

I quite enjoyed it. I liked the build up and I personally quite liked the long, drawn out set up. I liked that it took a while for them to notice things even though we know somethings up.

Tatum was good, as was Arjona. Everyone else also put in fine performances, no one stood out particularly but no one was bad.

I thought the plot was fine but it was quite obvious what was going on and where we were…
