  Heavy stuff. Probably one of Kore-eda’s finest, most heartfelt social critique. It’s so heavy that the entire theater of audience just sat through the end credits, seeking for some sort of solace.

  The ending is enigmatically dreamy, with a texture you only see in Miyazaki films. I can’t describe it, but I guess that’s what children’s dream should look like.
