An entertaining blend of Stranger Things + Jaws. An animal monster movie with overachieving kids and more gore than I expected. It was wildly funny; and Ray Liotta, in one of his final performances, gave us the hardest laugh of the night. I'm excited to see Banks continue her directing career.
The sequel to Knives out wasn't bad and is certainly worth the watch, but doesn't carry the same emotional depth as it's predecessor. Both films center around the idea of the "golden tit" (although only Glass Onion uses this moniker): a group of people who rely on the financial support of one ultra rich person, thus creating the motivation for murder. However this idea carries a lot more weight in the first movie because the entire cast are family related…
