  the half star is purely for the camera work and acting ability. a forced and romanticized ethical enigma which was really a glass onion. purely delirious and grotesque aesthetics somehow weirdly shoved into glorified western american romance, youth, and “freedom”. maybe some metaphorical connections could be made, but even that would be a reach with how the movie was laid-out. however, maybe the odd and deranged clusterfuck of serial killer romance themes is the only thing the film was supposed to achieve…

  i haven’t even been a fan like that… but this was brilliant. cried so many times. felt like a kid. only saw the musical when i was kid, so I forgot the plot, but so many parallels to society today that i rly hope people absorbed. cynthia and ariana absolutely killed it!!
