  this is NOT A HORROR MOVIE. i know scary is subjective but this really isn’t scary at all as much as tense in a dramatic way. this is a dark family/teen drama! please know that going in because i did not. its fun and very dramatic and the way its filmed it really cool and refreshing, but i was expecting a different movie! maybe i’ll do a spoilery review later but for now heed my warning

  this movie was so awesome, a bit weirdly paced but i went in expecting a sonic movie and by god that’s what i got.
  i think they suffer a bit from series fatigue which i hope doesn’t carry over to the other movies. they definitely rushed the beginning and intros to the characters so they could get to the new stuff. it didn’t really take away from the movie but it was evident.
