    After so many years, there really only is one Phantasm (besides the other Phantasms). A nightmare put to film, complete with dream logic, surreal imagery, and a horrifying omnipotent antagonist. I think Lynch might owe a penny or two to Mr. Cosacarelli, I see something there. The film breezes along in a nearly wordless expanses of eerie atmosphere and oddball horror sequences, with a placed-out-of-time cast of folk duo and BOY. Shout out to Reggie, sporting the horseshoe hairline with the pony tail and somehow being allowed to sell ice cream to children.
