The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim 2024
I’m not that big into lotr and honestly all I knew going into this was that helm’s deep was a location that exists in the lore universe but even so, I was still able to really enjoy this movie. Honestly it would still work without all the lore and cannon bullshit. Also everybody is really hot except for the old people and the children (obviously)

Black Hawk Down 2001
This is a full on propaganda film. I’m impressed that they managed to spin such a massive military failure. It bothered me how at the end they said 1000 Somalis “died” and 19 soldiers “lost their lives”… it feels almost dehumanizing. Also the dialogue was mostly just people shouting and the in the quieter scenes you could kinda tell that they were casting for looks not talent
