My Old Ass 2024
Okay so when I say this is the greatest coming of age film I mean this is the GREATEST coming of age film. The dialogue felt so organic WHILE referencing gen z culture? Like I haven’t really seen a movie do that well other than Talk To Me. It didn’t feel corny, it just felt authentic. Maisy ATE DOWN!!!!!!

So dope. How people have been talking about it is incredibly misleading though.
I loved the endless homages to the classics. My personal favorite was the doorknob face, which I’m pretty certain is a reference to twin peaks when Josie Packard turns into a doorknob.
i would argue that it’s a comedy, based on the fact that odi, Jo, and I couldn’t stop laughing throughout the majority of the movie.
Super camp, super gross, I loved it.
