Don't pet the weird dog.
So I'm, or have been, severely arachnophobic. Have been since I was a child. Recently I've been trying to push through it with exposure therapy by consuming more media featuring the skittery fellas, and I was delighted to see that one released today with an excellent trailer! So, going in mostly blind, I strapped in for a fun lil creature feature that might make me **** myself.

people really be sleeping on this movie, which is a shame, because it's the best movie in the series, and the only other one that comes even close is Final Destination 3.
By far the worst in the series, and particularly appalling when compared to the movie before it (Final Destination 3) and the one after it (Final Destination 5). Bad CGI, bland characters, a tone that lacks the visceral sense of unease that the previous entries had, and to top it all off they used a goddamn Shinedown song in the intro.
I have no idea how this movie is still so underrated. Such great performances, especially from Elliot Page, and a script that managed to expertly balance comedy, drama, and a deep unsettling horror. Hard recommend from me.
