A little predictable and some of the dialogue wasn’t very inspired but it was an accurate depiction of what living with someone with addiction is like. Both main characters were written flawed and vulnerable in their own way and both Close and Kunis turned in great performances.

This would have worked better if it was shot like an actual lost episode taping of a show. Instead it felt like a way to fill the runtime without a lot of meat. A perfectly simplistic concept for a generational horror ruined by an overload of too much extra story.

I almost didn’t see this in theaters and I’m so glad I was able to. I’m part of the rare breed of people who loves the first one for the campy piece of shit it is and this movie just took it up to 11 thanks to the 5m the aforementioned campy POS made at the box office. Very rarely does the original magic keep progressing as the third film comes around but this is officially a perfect trilogy. A+ for the humor, action, heartfelt moments, and Keanu Reeves being perfect casting for Shadow despite feeling a little underutilized most of the film. Can’t wait for the future of this franchise.
Also stay for the end credit scene, it’s worth it!
