In terms of garbage I decide to watch on a whim, this exceeded (admittedly low) expectations.

Whodunnit killer stuff: I (in hindsight, not sure how) really didn't see it coming, so fair play.

As slasher history goes, subverts the usual demographics of who gets to be main characters. And attempts a (clumsy, in your face) discourse about privilege.

Tonally, kind of all over. Funny in parts, but overly serious in the fire flashbacks, not sure where I'd stick "party montage smoking out of nazi memorabilia"...

Again, super low expectations were exceeded -- fair.

(Also, not sure how much the title makes sense)

    Pinnacle of cinema.

Just let a single mother have her fun

But also justice for Margo Martindale, she should have survived

We wanted Jared Leto to be the bad guy so badly because we couldn't bear to see his dumb face as a hero...

Also, as IF they called paramedics for Reese and then DROVE AWAY ??????

Came into this largely blind beyond hearing good things. The creeping unease really worked very well for me, and it's a long time since a film built to such a crescendo in just despair. As a queer person, I felt this so incredibly deeply and it affected me. Really masterful work to be honest
