  The humour in this one is peak Wes Anderson: dry, deadpan and totally absurd.
  It’s giving Grand Budapest Hotel with all the hyper-stylized symmetry and attention to detail, but with a rustic, countryside twist this time.

  This movie is like a how to be deep starter pack. Existential dread? Check. A moody protagonist who may or may not be the unwitting hero of a cosmic time loop? Double check.
   i’ve been avoiding Jake Gyllenhaal on principle (yes, it’s my first Jake movie, please don’t tell Taylor) but credit where it’s due: the guy makes contemplating the end of the world look compellingly broody.
