Heart Eyes 2025
Great movie for Valentine’s Day. It’s more rom-com than slasher but in the best way. The story is interesting and the kills are really great. I think Heart Eyes has the ability to become an iconic slasher villain with its unique costume and weapon set. Overall I really enjoyed it.

Scream 2022
This was my second watch but I like it way more now. It might be the only other movie in the franchise to have killers I like as much as the original. Jack Quaid and Mikey Madison stood out as the best performances in this movie. They both played the part so well and I loved that there wasn’t a family relation to the killers. It kinda flipped the script by making Samantha the connection to Loomis. Overall glad I gave it another shot because it’s definitely one of my favorites in the franchise now.

Oppenheimer 2023
I think people were capping about this movie, it was crazy boring. Every character was bland and uninteresting. Honestly I would’ve forgotten Oppenheimer’s name if it wasn’t said a million times throughout the movie by every character. The characters all felt more like set pieces than actual people. It’s like we ignored everything that makes WWII interesting, and instead we follow a group of white dudes talking in offices for 3.5 hours. Overall, it seems like Oscar-bait to me. Overemphasis on production methods, pointless inclusion of famous actors with very little actual part in the movie, and often pretentious dialogue just killed the movie for me.
