  Muszę przyznać, że bardzo pozytywnie zaskakuje oddanie ducha oryginału. Żebrowski wypada dokładnie tak, jak Skrzetuski powinien, poważny, dumny szlachcic, flagowy produkt z fabryki protagonistów. Zagłoba jest i-de-al-ny, dokładnie tak sobie wyobrażałam sprytnego starszego pana z sercem po właściwej stronie i głową pełną forteli. Zamachowski zaskoczył mnie b a r d z o pozytywnie i totalnie daje radę w roli Wołodyjowskiego. Wprawdzie Pan Longin powinien lorowo być troszkę młodszy, ale tutaj zrobię wyjątek, fantastyczna rola.   DAMN this movie is not making itself easy to like, especially after knowing the book back and forward.
