Apocalypse Now 1979
The art of finishing a movie is sooo important. The first half of this one before they stumble upon a random french plant was probably a 5/5. The crazy general, the epic shots, the storyline were so good! The second half not so much, I was so dissapointed in how Kurtz was presented and the whole 30 minutes we spend there feels so off. Life Is Beautiful 1997
MVP dad. Italy is so god damn beautiful and this story, character design and language was too. The colors were so bright and shining until they get to the camp which shows the life before and after. I had some issues with the girl actor but the main character carries this movie through the roof. He could sell me a new pen even if i didn’t know how to write.
My interest for WW2 is really growing so this one hit at the right time.
