I think it’s worth mentioning that I watched this on the plane to Disneyland and I watched the last scene while in line for Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway. That being said, the majority of the movie felt pretty standard, obviously some slasher tropes are being developed here, but the Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway portion of the movie is probably my favorite scene in a horror movie so far. Resident Evil 7 is my favorite horror game period so it was cool going back and experiencing some of its direct inspirations.
