  Instead of gadgets, Batman should have used those billions to hire a screenwriter or an editor. 

  There’s no reason a movie this long should have a script this bad or a story so boring. I thought this shit would never end. 

  And the overarching message of this film, like all Batman films, sorta blows.

  Imagine some stinky ole heartfelt story that’s out to make you cry like before sunrise or la la land - but then imagine that in the background there’s this giant lizard from the sea mucking about that’s shooting atomic lasers from his face. Better, right?

  Well that’s this movie. Plus a god tier score.

  Every citizen of the world should be issued one ticket to see this in IMAX.

  This one makes me feel like a party pooper. It was an okay movie improved due to its scale. When you really crack it open and separate it from the incredible sound design and some stand-out performances you have a muddled, surface-level (not good for a 3hr movie), and safe retelling of a story that really didn’t add any complexity to what we could have found out reading the Wiki or watching a YT video.
