Mockumentary about a beauty pageant somewhere in Minnesota. Forgot comedy was way more unhinged back in 1999. Took me by surprise. Some things didn't age too well but once you accept it there it's quite enjoyable. If you are looking for light entertainment I'd say this movie hits the spot. Also Cast is a blessing.

Rollercoaster of emotions for sure. Euphoria in the start. The hunt for Ivan feels like a Slapstick comedy and the ending left me kinda sad and uncomfortable. Certainly not a Cinderella story. I don't know why the concept of sex work wasn't really criticized more I felt like there would be some room for that. That aside I enjoyed most of the movie.
