Venom 2018
My friend summed this movie up perfectly: “It was not of cinematic quality, but I had fun.”
Well, I had fun because I like Venom :/ Tom did a good job with Eddie, and makes the movie watchable. There isn’t much to say, really, beyond some cast performances (which you end up having to separate from poor writing and odd directing) and visuals there was nothing spectacular. I was hoping that this would finally be the good Venom movie that my favorite gooey, toothy alien deserves but—yikes. I was thrown into a strange, sci-fi/thriller/romantic comedy (can Venom give me dating advice, too??).
