I like how this takes a typical kind of funny-sad midlife crisis thing and completely blows it up with its awesome premise. The development feels thorough yet very unpredictable, not holding anything back. Just when the nightmare verges on cartoonish, it’s able to stick the landing on its well-built emotional core.
