this short film was incredible from start to finish. Not only does it create a layer of suspense and awe that builds throughout the film, but it leaves a lot of the plot for interpretation by the viewers. Overall, one of my favorite horror short films I’ve seen.

You Were Never Really Here 2017
This movie is so intense and beautiful that it’s really hard to put into words. It really tackles a real world problem that is often kept under wraps and exposes it fully in the daylight. My favorite aspect of the movie is how the protagonist experiences PTSD, it’s something that the director captured perfectly that I can truly relate too. It also shows how finding someone to keep going for can heal trauma by facing it together. This movie is disturbing, but truly worth the watch if you can handle it.
