  Stand by Me 1986

  First time watching what was dubbed to be a "legendary" classic film. My preconditions for watching the film was that it wouldn't be sad. Unfortunately this was not fulfilled. Despite this, the film pleasantly surprised me with unreal scenes and great cinematography. My favourite scene would have to be "traaaaaaiiiiiiin", I absolutely loved the fat kid. I did not however enjoy the commentary by Caleb & Larissa who kept reminding me River Phoenix tragically died at 16, and Corey Feldman was the most sexually abused child in Hollywood at the time. Overall great piece of film.

  Watched Coco at the recommendation of Max who hyped this to be a "top 3 animated movie". Huge call. Coco pulled through with great comedy, good sound track and interesting (but long) plot line. I got sick of the abuelita who hated music, especially when this was carried through to his great great grandma in the Land of the Dead. The ending absolutely pulled through with me shedding multiple tears (very rare occurrence, 4th time ever). Loved the duet of Hector & his wife and the song "remember me" with coco hit home so fucken hard.
