didnt know this was a “based on a true story” film until the end credits. not sure how much was exaggerated for the plot but it was all over the place. and as much as i love ryan goslings acting talent i just couldnt believe he would ever harm women like that.

i actually …. loved it. i feel like a lot of the reviews are just harping on the fact it’s a musical, but i think the numbers played really beautifully into the storyline. i don’t even usually like musicals but they integrated well into the joker fantasy. i think it was really well done.
