It's refreshing to see such a hope-pilled story every now and again and I really enjoyed this one. As you would expect from Bong Joon-Ho it's really class conscious without some of the bleakness of his previous work. Shout out to the fact that Mickey is still generally well liked and considered attractive despite being an expendible, I think that works really well for the deeper themes of the story while preventing the film falling into a cliche.
