we could've dropped the cheating plot altogether and i would've accepted this as the typical romcom na may halong onting drama with no real consequences. really promoting a strong woman who works for her dreams and family giving half of it up for a guy who wasn't even actively making it up to her + CHEATED on her too after guiltripping her for working for herself? ugh
also ofw focused movies always underline the real villain without realizing it--the filipino govt for failing to help its people and ensure they DON'T have to leave their home and families behind just to provide for them.Translated from by -

The first half was rather nonsensical to me who had no background of the film's themes itself, but overall still something I can stomach despite my confusion. The second half is just the director asking me if I was uncomfortable enough before sucker punching me in the gut and telling me it's not enough lol
