this genuinely just upset me, gaspar noe has such a way with knowing how to genuinely disgust a viewer using only human on human interaction. the characteristics of some humans can be worse than and more crude than animal, he really likes to show how low human can go. idk if it's a good or bad thing but i do know i just seen something i don't think i needed to see ever... uhh idk. like this movie was great…

gerald kargl did an amazing job at showing the grotesque and merciless nature of a predator in every sense of the word. the main difference between a predator and the antagonist, which you follow during the movie from his perspective, (including hearing his own insufferable conscious monologues) is that rather killing prey in means of survival or a natural selection process that humanity would have instinctively inherited, it's turned into a perverse, sadistic playtime to him.

On the Silver Globe 1988
probably the most difficult movie i’ve ever watched. a visual work of art which i could appreciate even as being almost completely lost on what was going on during the plot other than the bare minimum. i plan to come back to this movie at some point and hopefully get a better insight on it.
