Breakdown worked largely because of it's simplicity, Vidaamuyarchi takes that simple plot and needlessly over-complicates it by adding a lot of unnecessary scenes. The first half of Dragon was atrocious, The characterization of Raghavan begins as an incel who can't handle rejection and how he radically changes by becoming more toxic to cope with that. The college and after college scenes were totally cringe, annoying and none of the characters were likeable.
