omg why does everyone hate this so much!!! i was just so engaged by the visual style i audibly cheered when he did something a little disorienting like cutting half the shot with a black screen instead of zooming in or slowing the frame rate for 2 seconds at a time but this might be because i’m a truffaut newbie… ugh and the REDS… thoroughly enjoyed. conformity runs deep
