Architecture as a backdrop it makes it the heart of everything Bauhaus human centered ideals get swallowed by Brutalist concrete and Lol Crawley’s framing makes sure you feel it every structure looms over the characters crushing them under its scale the library scene is pure visual storytelling light and shadow turning knowledge and power into a silent battle and then there’s Lázsló Tóth who never even gets to see his work completed an artist lost in a world that refuses to make space for him
