  A Late career masterpiece from one of our greatest living directors. 'Perfect Days' captures the soul and spirit of life and the appreciation of the simplest things in life. A quiet, reflective, magical film with a brilliant performance from the great Koji Yakusho. And the ending was pure bliss. It is one of those films that can change the trajectory of your life.

  If only some people can have it, that's not happiness. That's just nonsense. Happiness is something anyone can have.

  This is Koreeda at his finest. A tender, heartfelt and emotionally riveting masterwork. The premises of all three acts are monstrous expression of feeling and take on different meaning,depth and emotional content. The impeccable screenplay and incredible acting and a soothing score by late Ryuichi Sakamoto perfectly compliment the film.

  'The White Meadows' is visually striking and a poetic experience between the myths of the tribes.
  It follows Rahmat's journey around the small islands in Lake Urmia. He has been collecting tears of sadness for years and no one really knows what he has been doing with them.

  Mohammad Rasoulof's film takes on the customs and traditions in Iranian society and shows how it is harrowed and harmfully backward with full of symbols. With Rahmat's mesmeric and dreamlike journey, stunning visuals and interesting characters, 'The White Meadows' reconstructs time and space in its own reality.
