Hello, Love, Again 2024
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
honestly, this would have been a 4 ⭐ movie on my scale… well-acted and it tells a real and poignant story about love, distance, and life away from your home country.
however — just like alone/together, i believe the movie should have ended at an earlier point of the story.
they had a great opportunity to tell a really grounded and important story about a situation that isn't captured in films all that often… and they just missed the mark with the ending…
an ending which only seems to exist to fulfill the typical filipino romance movie cliché 😔.
