  Knowing the story behind this movie, and the short story, before watching it is absolutely heartbreaking.
  I'm convinced that anyone who rates this film low (my assumption from the few low reviews here) has absolutely no understanding of what it's like to be a child taking care of a child, and has no understanding of WW2 and how rations worked so allow me to explain since apparently people don't know how to use Google or read a book:

  Apocalypse WOW, this sucked!
  Apocalypse was waiting for the ending.

  Not the worst thing I've ever seen but I truly wonder how this is percieved as one of the best films out there. The color conposition, dynamic shots, and sound design were amazing, so that is the only reason it gets more then 1 star from me.
