Au Hasard Balthazar 1966
Such a tragic movie, although there are scenes where empathy is shown, the evil outweigh the goodness throughout the movie. There isn't anything extraordinary or supernatural about balthazar, he is just a donkey, one that has accepted his life however tragic it is.
Bresson produces some kind of effect, he forces us to decide on how to feel (i think because the actors did excellent in not acting), he makes it a first hand experience making it very emotional, atleast for me.Translated from by -
