my favourite film of all times.
Heathers is an incredible narrative about how we simplify the mental health issues in our society to bite-sized pieces of entertainment, never actually acknowledging the impact it has on our youth or the intrinsec fault our system has in allowing these issues in the first place.
The satirical absurdism it tackles the narrative with amplifies how ridiculous our actions as a society are surrounding these topics, and it never gets shy of being as…

I'm 100% percent genuine when I say that this film changed so much about my perspective towards film-making. The whole directing is incredible, so unique while being so attatched to its world.

partially as fun as the final film, but clearly longing to be more than what it is and ends up feeling incomplete

I'm sorry but... is the chemistry in the room with us?
She was amazing, loved her and everything she said. Meanwhile, him... I wanted him to shut the fuck up every time he opened his mouth.

Grand, so incredibly grand that it becomes overwhelming at times. Multiple characters with different desires talking over each other and stealing the voyeuristic camera so that it focuses on their life.
It gets too messy for my preference, but I can't deny it's really fun, and really REALLY american.
As entertaining but at times obnoxious as the US itself.
Nevertheless, I'm really enjoying my Altman marathon, I love his directing style even here when it's a bit too much.Translated from by
