  sharp writing. must’ve been a director’s choice to keep several things vague and unexplained which i don’t think ultimately panned out as a stylistic choice.

  wasn’t drawn into any of the characters as anybody to root for. tons of gray.

  good one for the theater. might not keep your attention at home.

  it was great. was it Best Picture great? not sure. Mikey Madison was terrific. Best Actress terrific? not sure.

  i thought after the beginning it would be a glimpse into the psyche of a sex worker or less "glamorous" jobs like the hotel guy or restaurant servers but after garnik/toros/igor were introduced, adding a flavor of hehe haha comedy, i couldn't decipher where the direction was going or any deeper meaning. not every movie needs a message! i'm still figuring…
