This film is so beautifully and carefully crafted. True artistry and storytelling. Watching this as a little girl and seeing a young female protagonist that was so headstrong and self-assured was always so influential to me. It being so long since I’ve watched this movie in full, there were little snippets where I had forgotten the plot that felt like I was watching it for the first time again and I felt so lucky !
