Had been searching it for years. Was finally able to catch it on DIFF India Viewing Room and it's been totally worth the wait.
Madan Deodhar is outstanding as a boy whose life turns upside down when his single mother brings home the 'Girni' (grinding machine).
Have rarely seen such a real portrayal of a suburban chawl. In just a 24 mins runtime, Umesh manages to create an absorbing, haunting and atmospheric experience.
