Elemental 2023
I KNOW my rating is pretty high, but this is a huge comfort movie for me now. I haven’t fallen in love with a movie so hard in a long time and I saw it in the theater twice already. Yes, the plot inconsistencies are too big to ignore, but the characterization was SO GOOD, the animation was absolutely beautiful, Ember’s storyline was deep and obviously personal to the writer, and the romance part gave me actual butterflies. Me and my bestie were gasping and squealing in the theatre. Will rewatch many times.

Jesus Revolution 2023
Most definitely the most well made faith based film I have seen to this date. While the makers of this movie glossed over some of the details of the lives of some of the people and dramatized others, I believe the heart of the story was sufficiently kept. So much of the film was relatable to my story, and they didn’t keep out the realities of low points of having faith in God.
