one of my favourite films of all time! i could study it for hours. it’s a depressing film, venturing into themes such as sexuality, the male gaze and suicide. i felt pity for the lisbon girls. their short lives were a focal point in the perception of the boys around then, for all the wrong reasons. the film is told from a male perspective. it is a memory of a fascination a group of boys had on the lisbon girls…
