All the stylish camera work and editing mean nothing when the characters feel hollow and directionless. The homoeroticism is all style with no real depth. Guadagnino seems more interested in parading Zendaya’s outfits than in exploring his characters' desires. And of course that glorifying "get yourself horny" cheating scene because it's easier to provoke the audience than to tell a real story. Stupid film.
