Really fun and re-watchable. In the first few minutes I was hopeful that it was going to be a silent film. Sketchy Villagers, Robin Redbreast, Harvest Home style with an awkward but fun juxtaposition of crucifix-garlic, baphomet and satan. I think Midsommar took influence from the vocalizing or chanting at the ceremony.
Yeah, you figured out the mystery right away (after 50 full years of similar stories in cinema) but I think that's intentional. Yell at the characters all the way through, they never listen to you.Translated from by -
