  I can only muster up so much respect as I can muster up for this version.
  Very pretty to look at, Richard III looked like Lord Farquad

  But I’m being so honest here: this movie is why I need subtitles
  The sets were so echoey and Olivier is so good at projecting for what I’m assuming is stage acting that any plot spoken by him in anything other than a whisper is lost to the acoustics of the castle sets
  Also I couldn’t get the burned image of Olivier playing Othello out of my brain so it was already tainted

  Anyways
  Huzzah, Tudor rule
