Any movie that has me crying and begging for two characters to just fucking kiss already is gonna get at least 4 stars.
This movie was the equivalent of the best strip tease you’ve ever seen but the tease is someone just taking off a fancy white glove. The build up, tension, and fabulous series of one take scenes makes the ending that much more memorable.
Jesus fucking Christ if they didn’t kiss at the end I think I would have punched a wall.

My mom showed me this film as she’s way more competent in her cinematic literacy than I am. Loved it and I wish I appreciated it more at the time. A rewatch proved much more fruitful; smash shots, gritty 90s budget animation, and high stakes throughout the film make it fun.
