  What a splendid time for letterboxd pro to run out
  MASTAPIECE!
  There’s a reason we know about Abel Ferrara long after his reign. The man knew how to put together an independent stylized crime drama 
  The grit that you feel in his movies is something like no other.
  This is his magnum opus
  Lawrence Fishburn and Wesley Snipes deserved 2-3 shitty to mid tier action movies in the 90s. Would’ve made an unreal duo. They also deserved the money that would’ve come from it. No idea the bag was so deep

  This should be the movie every first time “film bro” watches

  So unbelievably perfect that it almost excuses Quentin as a person
  (He’s still never made a bad movie)
  Less than 200k budget. The best of the cheap genre if that even exists
  Having seen his top three a plethora of times now. It really is a toss up between this and inglorious
  12 angry men but they’re interesting
  If anyone even tries to claim an actor in this movie doesn’t fulfill their role and beyond you can fucking eat my ballz
