Erica: 2 stars - not realistic (5 stars for imagination thou)

A brilliant, imaginate heist movie of the cerebral variety, due to the themes of how an idea may alter your entire life and identity.
A great study and discussion of how one’s mind can make anything real with the right - or wrong - suggestion and manipulation.

Nolan’s ideas are executed brilliantly due to an exceptional cast and imaginative production design which makes the dreams and paradoxes come to life.

I didn’t remembered all the action and set pieces. While impressive, I feel it detracts a bit from the plot and the ideas.

    The Help

    ★★★★

    Erica: 5 stars

Life can be soul crushingly awful and depressing, yet at the same time possessing immense beauty and splendor. The duality of fleeting moments with ease, calm and laughter, succeeded by life punching you straight in the jaw.

The help is a strikingly human and realistic portrayal of life in the south during the final days before the civil rights movements of the 1960s.

Courage is essential to facing the changing world, and if you don’t possess it…

    Erica: Does not remember

The old school family action movies they don’t make anymore. It’s as good as it gets, just on the verge of uncanny valley, yet believable enough for a good time. Goofy actors, goofy set pieces and a good old time

    22 July

    ★★½

    Erica: 3 stars

A different perspective of the acts of terror which took place the 22nd of July.

The movie “Utøya” paints a more striking picture of the events which transpired on the island, but 22 July gives other context about the the aftermath and trial so it’s worth a watch as a companion piece to Utøya
