Cure 1997
I mean its just one of the best movies ever made. Kurosawa is so gifted at instilling an atmosphere of hopelessness and dread in his films, and Cure is drenched in them. The sound design in this movie is phenomenal, it has copious amounts of praise in the reviews for this movie and it earns every bit of them. And the final scene!!! The perfect ending to a perfect, bleak, masterpiece

This movie is just fantastic. Im writing this review nearly a week after seeing it and i probably remember more things and feelings about this movie thsn i have about 99% of any other ones ive ever watched. Ive seen a lot of people label Babylon as 'messy' which i couldn't disagree with more. The film is verrrrry busy. A lot is happening for every scene of this 3 hour movie but a no point does it feel rushed, unnecessarilly…
